BACK TO FACE TO FACE CLASSES
Great news: from next week Monday 15 June classes will resume at the Sawtell CWA Hall!
We will respect social distancing (unlike the picture...!) Classes will have a maximum of 10 students. Bbookings by text 0438 618 871 - 24 hours cancellation.
BYO mat and ideally 2 x purple blocks, belt and a blanket (plus anything else you like to use in your practice). We will avoid sharing equipment. There will be some equipment available to borrow and take home for regular students.
Common surfaces will be cleaned, hand sanitiser available. Please stay home if you are unwell.
I am looking forward to getting back to teaching face to face!
YOGA ON LOU'S DECK
From 1 June I will be teaching small day classes from home outside on my deck.
People will have to book/text me prior to coming to secure a spot.
Tuesday evening classes will remain on Zoom for now. Students will need to bring their own/borrowed props.
If you have borrowed equipment and are not using it with my zoom or face to face classes thank you for returning it. You will need to clean the blankets, belts and wipe the blocks.
In addition, there are a few new videos in the “video” section of the website to help you with your hope practice: there are now over 10 videos there! I have been busy doing yoga!!
Take care, and see you soon on the mat.
EASTER BREAK
Classes resume Monday 27 April on Zoom. See details on the "Timetable" tab. See you then!
ZOOM CLASSES
This week our classes went online to Zoom. Congratulations to the brave students who made their way there form their lounge room! A big step for me and for a few "non-technology" people. Well done!
"Jumping online" was a bit daunting. My yoga practice has taught me to be resilient and to find opportunities at hard times like injuries. Each time i have had an injury or a set back, it has made me look at my practice differently. its easy to feel "sorry for myself". Once I accept the situation, I can become a bit creative and move on.
Being faced with having to stay home and not attending "face to face" classes is a change. But it doesn't have to be bad. It can be a time of slowing down, being reflective, and trying new things. If you need to borrow props for your home practice, please let me know. We can arrange a pick up time.
